Hello All:
Unfortunately this week I did not receive any suggestions for the Thursday Reading Corner so I’m going to go ahead and compose a title for the piece myself:
“Nothing Short of Unexpected”
I think this Title best suits this piece of writing because of the way Yahshua honored Zaccheus by noticing the effort he had put into just catching a glimpse of The Master. Zaccheus must have been astounded when Yahshua came to the tree and spoke to him. The Pharisees thought it was unseemly that Yahshua should go into the house of a known sinner, but Yahshua sees into the hearts of men and does not judge others as we do. It also depicts persistence with which Zaccheus approached the task, he stopped short of nothing to achieve the goal at hand even though he could have been discouraged by the crowd. It is important for us to stay the course even when it seems like the odds are stacked against us, because Yahshua will reward us for our diligence.
So this week the winner’s circle sits vacant, but you guys will get another shot at next week’s writing. So get your minds in gear.
Yahweh Bless!
